Aldershot Town 3 - 1 Scunthorpe United FT

Sean Patton took his tally to four goals in five games for Aldershot with a brace in the 3-1 National League victory over Scunthorpe at The EEB Stadium.

On-loan Reading striker Patton put the Shots ahead after eight minutes when he reacted quickest to tap home after Hady Ghandour's shot was parried by Rory Mahady.

Patton doubled the lead in the 16th minute when he fired home from the edge of the box after being played in by Ryan Hill before Brody Peart marked his home debut with a goal as he burst into the box from the right and shot home through Mahady's legs in the 33rd minute.

Danny Whitehall pulled one back for the Iron, slotting home the rebound from Coniah Boyce-Clarke's save.
