We've just had a genuinely historic election here in New Brunswick (i.e. nothing comparable in almost a century), and there's no end of weird things happening politically across the country (e.g. an NDP government in Alberta (shocking in-and-of-itself) going toe-to-toe with an NDP government in BC over pipelines, and Doug Ford (brother of the late Crack-smoking Mayor of Toronto) leading a populist uprising in Ontario).
