Responds: I Have No Idea Who You Are
#RickRoss had an awkward moment in court following his arrest on dome$tic v!olence charges.
Appearing virtually Thursday (Oct. 1) in a red jail jumpsuit, the rapper listened as his attorney pushed for him to be released quickly, telling the judge, “Mr. Roberts is a celebrity…I ask that his release be expedited.”
Judge Mindy Glazer, however, made it clear his fame wouldn’t earn him special treatment, responding, “Hi, Mr. Roberts. I have no idea who you are, except for someone who is in the court that’s going to be treated fairly like everyone else here.”
As reported, Ross was arrested after his ex-girlfriend, #JazzmaKendrick, accused him of physically att@cking and ch*king her during an alleged Aug. 28 incident; he has pleaded not guilty to the felony battery by str@ngulation and misdemeanor battery charges.
