Illinois high school football state rankings: How Peoria-area teams fared in the Week 7 poll
The seventh statewide rankings from the Illinois Media were released Thursday, Oct. 1, putting three Peoria-area high school football teams among the top 10 in the IHSA in their respective classes after Week 6.
Morton continues its rise in the Class 5A poll, checking in at No. 7. Dunlap finds itself as the fifth-ranked team in Class 6A. El Paso-Gridley holds at No. 2 in Class 2A.
