Medium CEO Tony Stubblebine kicks off Pub Crawl with a welcome video to set the stage for two days of connection and conversation. Then we get into it:

The Sessions

How to Run a Publication
Wednesday, March 11 | 10–11am EDT
Running a publication on Medium is equal parts vision, passion, and logistics, and the editors on this panel have lived all of it. Emily Menez of Slackjaw, Tucker Lieberman of Identity Current, and Dr. Allison Wiltz of Cultured will share how they got started, how they built their editorial teams, and what it actually takes to keep a publication running. If you’re thinking about starting a publication or looking to grow the one you have, don’t miss this one.

How to Work with Writers
Wednesday, March 11 | 12–1pm EDT
The most meaningful writing collaboration is the editor-writer relationship. In this conversation, Sam Vaseghi of Quantastic Journal, Stanley C. of Music for Thought, and Caroline Topperman of Migrations Review get honest about how they support new voices, give feedback, and navigate questions around craft and AI.

How to Make the Most of Medium
Thursday, March 12 | 4–5pm EDT
Medium’s own Senior Product Marketer, Zulie Rane knows this platform inside and out, and she’s sharing the nuts and bolts of Medium. If you want to build your readership, find the right publications for your work, and get more from your time on Medium, show up for this one.

Oh, and check out Punderdome (Wednesday, March 11, 2–3pm EDT), a crowd-favorite game where you and your team compete to submit the best puns. And Writing Hour (Thursday, March 12, 10–11am EDT) our dedicated time to actually write featuring a live music set from DJ Brik. Yes, really.
