North Carolina is without Caleb Wilson on Saturday at Syracuse.

It'd be a big boost for UNC if center Henri Veesaar was able to return from injury, though.

Veesaar was viewed as a game-time decision as Saturday's 1 p.m. ET approach at the JMA Wireless Dome approached.

Is Henri Veesaar playing today?

Veesaar is playing today, yes.

UNC announced that he is starting about 20 minutes before tip-off.

It had already trended that way in on-court work before the game.

He went through full layup line warmups with the Tar Heels, including a dunk before they headed back to the locker room.

Veesaar has been dealing with a lower-body injury.

He returned to individual workouts at practice on Thursday and was expected to ramp up as gameday approached.

Veesaar hasn't played since Feb. 10 against Miami. Given that he's coming off an injury, it's hard to know exactly what his minutes workload may look like against the Orange.

But getting him back at all is great news for the Tar Heels.
