BROOKINGS, S.D. (KELO) — The SDSU men’s basketball team scored the final eight points Saturday to claim a 91-83 win over North Dakota.

The Jackrabbits trailed by as many as 11 in the first half. All five starters scored in double figures, but it was that late-game spark that prevented the Jacks from dropping their first home game against the Fighting Hawks since 1995.

“We’ve really just been working on how do we give a little more at the end of the game to just get stops,” SDSU junior guard Garry said. “We were fortunate enough to make them mess at the end there and have a couple shots fall. So, yeah, it’s a good feeling.”

SDSU is now 6-8 in the Summit League and tied with USD for sixth place.
