The 2026 Winter Olympics kicked off on February 6 in Milan, Italy with the Opening Ceremonies that featured the Parade of Nations, giant head mascots of Italian legends and performances by Mariah Carey and Andrea Bocelli. Seventeen days of elite competition followed, with some truly memorable moments taking place. The United States finished with a new record-high in gold medals won, finishing second in the overall medal standings.
Three of the prominent commentators from the Games have been tabbed to take viewers through the Closing Ceremonies as Terry Gannon, Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir are hosting the event. It's certainly not their first rodeo together as the three of them have hosted the Closing Ceremonies for four straight Olympics -- summer and winter -- dating back to Pyeongchang (2018), Tokyo (2020), Beijing (2022) and Paris (2024).
In addition to that trio, Andrea Joyce and Lewis Johnson will be on hand as reporters.
Things kick off at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC, with the Closing Ceremonies also streaming on Peacock.
